My Story

With a power vocal reminiscent of the sounds of the 70’s, Kentucky rock artist, Sean Whiting, resides along what is known as the Country Music Highway but he is unapologetically rock and roll. Pulling from his influences of the great rock and blues acts of the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s, Sean’s music is saturated with an almost swampy feeling of the south and a unique blend of soul, blues, and rock. With over25 years of writing and performing under his belt, Sean has a commanding stage presence that is both entertaining and electrifying. Having only embarked on a full-time solo career a few years ago, Sean has 3 full length albums and an E.P. under his belt with and has toured in support of them extensively throughout the region and Midwest. His band, The Big Badness, is comprised of Austin Lewis (guitar), Trevor Litteral (bass), Tommy Oney (guitar) and Sam Rogers (drums), some of the region’s finest musicians. If you like soaring power vocals, loud guitars, and thunderous drums and bass, then you’re sure to be a fan of Sean Whiting and The Big Badness.
